Día de la solidaridad
Mañana, viernes 26 de agosto -fecha de nacimiento de la Madre Teresa de Calcuta-, se celebra el Día Nacional de la Solidaridad debido a su arduo e indiscutible labor de servicio y amor solidario.
En el marco de esta fecha es importante reconocer la gran labor solidaria que llevan a cabo cientos de agrupaciones, instituciones y gualeguaychuenses. Y ésta es precisamente una de las características de la comunidad de Gualeguaychú que más enorgullece.
Ver que la solidaridad aflora de manera espontánea, sin presiones frente a situaciones de emergencia y vulnerabilidad habla de que el dolor del prójimo aún conmueve y de que el egoísmo es dejado de lado frente a causas que valen la pena.
No es un dato menor que en la actualidad sean cada vez más las personas que se aboquen a brindar ayuda a quienes atraviesan una situación de vulnerabilidad. Se trata de un fenómeno que cobra más y más fuerza no sólo en la ciudad, sino en todo el país e incluso hay quienes ya hablan de una “revolución solidaria”.
Poco a poco la indiferencia va siendo reemplazada por la solidaridad y, este fenómeno tiene la particularidad de provocar una suerte de contagio, por lo que bienvenido sea.
