Una medida que era necesaria
En varias oportunidades, en la sección Opinión se ha hecho referencia a una situación que ocurría en el vecino poblado de Pueblo General Belgrano en relación al tránsito.
Lo que se planteaba era que, al no contar esa ciudad con una dirección o área de Tránsito y luego, cuando ésta finalmente se creó, no cobrar multas, mucha gente aprovechaba para conducirse como deseaba en las calles de este pueblo. Era común ver menores de edad manejando autos, motos y cuatriciclos y también el exceso de velocidad en la ruta era tan común como manejar alcoholizados.
Por eso, merece ser destacado el avance que se ha hecho en esta materia en los meses de iniciada la gestión del actual intendente Mauricio Davico, que no tuvo reparos en armar el área como corresponde, aprovechar el acompañamiento y guía del municipio de Gualeguaychú y de la Agencia Nacional de Seguridad Vial, habilitar al personal a cobrar multas, detener automovilistas y retener vehículos, en los casos en que se haya infringido la Ley.
Lamentablemente, la mayoría de los ciudadanos son hijos del rigor y hasta que no les tocan el bolsillo no respetan las normas.
